The best for us ... # 69
Thai food here is very well prepared, good menu
Gladly again at any time. Price / performance great.
Super nice service and fabulous food. Very fresh and deliciously prepared. Very good kitchen.
Food good. Service could be more attentive. Prices cheap. Locally overcrowded with plants. Hardly any parking spaces.
I have eaten. Food is not real Thai food Ordered stir-fried basil, fried vegetables No basil leaves Ordered fried rice, it was very salty, not fried rice like Thai people do. Ordered Tom Yum Chicken was not delicious. (Like he imitates cooking Thai food more) When ordering food, I have to say what number Saying the name, I don't know what food * Must tell the menu number only * If Thai people eat, they will know that it is not the food made by Thais. Because the taste of the ingredients is noticeably different
The interior of the restaurant is a bit cluttered. The friendliness is Asian cool. The food is good though!
The location is super cozy and traditionally designed. The service was very friendly and the food was great. You will definitely get full here in this restaurant and I can recommend it to anyone who is into Thai specialties. Simply flawless🥰
This is NOT a real Thai restaurant and this is not THAI Papaya Salad so dont expect any Authentic Thai!! This Som Tum or papaya salad has loads of Garlic!!! Beware its a NOT a good papaya salad i have ever had in my life. the food wasnt really Thai from my perspective.
Good and honest food ... you have to understand ... it's thai food and not chinese food. Always fresh and always nice and very friendly. I like to come back again and again ... if you wish, even for those who don't like spicy food
Thai soup delicious. Duck (44) was with gravy. Had nothing to do with Thai. Wasn't worth it.
Leckor food, price and service top
Underground food, inedible just let it go completely and told the waiter that the food is not good. Answer: He wouldn't like it either.
Very unfriendly service. The food was not good either. Everything very greasy. Little freshness ... not typically Thai. Too bad. Not to speak of the decoration. Everything banged with plastic flowers. Just don't go there.
Nicely opened - huge menu - friendly service - BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY contrary to the text on the card when ordering !!! Incomprehensible!! Still nothing brought - serving - but already money !! Soup same vegetables Sliced as for the main course - but a huge portion of rice - nice and hot! - Vegetables like soup - I don't have to have them more often
I've actually never eaten so bad. I had Thai curry and it tasted of something else indefinable. It had a very strange aftertaste. The vegetables had mold spots that were cut off. But you saw that in part because the parts weren't completely cut away. I think the restaurant only lasts because in garmisch there are so many tourists who have eaten there before but don't come back. I can't explain it otherwise.
Price very good! Food very good too! A little much decoration and the operation is hard to understand ...
I cannot completely agree with the other reviews, mMn was definitely authentic Thai. Service was also very friendly.
When you enter the restaurant, your eyes go over what a decoration (in a positive sense)! The service is very friendly and is also available for a little chat. Ordered a rice platter, and since spicy food is not my cup of tea, suggestions were made by the waitress as to how the dishes can be served so that the spiciness is removed from the food. Happy to accept and the food was delicious.
The food is delicious. I have visited this restaurant many times. At lunchtime, the price of the meal is very cheap.
We were very skeptical at first but the food was awesome delicious very nice service we will be back.
Very tasty and healthy food, varied menu, friendly service. We have been getting food there for years and the quality + quantity is consistently good.
Hands down 5 stars. I have a natural Asian pallette.
Very nice
so good food
Plenty of food and a lot too choose. Good relationship price/quality.
So..so..
Nice
The food is great and authentic but the interior is a little bit too much. They offer take away.
So went with my wife and kids as we love Thai food. You notice when you walk in absurd amount of plastic orchids...it's like a maze. I thought they were real until I touched them and they were dusty and greasy plastic. I went into the bathroom and it had an overpowering smell of urine. The hostess or owner or whomever she (has a ton of make up) is absolutely rude, cranky and unfriendly. Tables are too close together and the menu is ultra confusing and makes no sense. We ordered drinks and the makeup lady snapped at my wife and my 6 year old and when I asked her if they had Thai Tea she rolled her eyes and said sharply no...and walked off. We put our jackets on to leave to take our chances somewhere else when she showed up with the drinks. She made a big scene because she poured the drinks so we paid the 11 Euros and just walked out. I was fully expecting for this to be a game show with cameras hidden and that it was all just a big joke but it's hands down the worst restaurant I've ever been too and we never even got to ordering food.
My family has come here several times because we love the food. I've never been to Thailand and so can't speak for the authenticity of the food, but I've never been disappointed here. It's a small place with some unique decorations and honestly the staff isn't super friendly, but we always have a good time when we come. Of all the places I've eaten in in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, it's the only one that never fails to provide a tasty entree.
Foods are not Thai taste. If the owner is Thai, he will not decorate his restaurant like this Rambutan.
Bad service
Some dishes were OK, while others were far from what you would expect. The pad thai was seasoned with paprika for instance.
WARNING: The main meals are HUGE. If you are an average human being, you will not be able to eat a starter plus a main without feeling (or maybe even being...) sick. The menu likes to talk about how Thai people prefer lots of small portions that are then shared, but each dish is very German in size. I guess what they mean to say is that if there are 2 or you, order one main. 4 people then maybe 2 or 3 plates to share is ideal. Now that I have that out of the way, this place is fantastic. Great choice of dishes that are very tasty and well priced considering the meal sizes provided (see above), and a great little setting to eat in; lots of colour! Top stuff.
Awesome place, authentic atmosphere, great food, big portion. I am glad I stopped. Though I must admit I am partial to Thai food.
Food was very nice. Huge portions for a thai, so don't be greedy. Had a great mixed starter with spring rolls, chicken wings and amazing skewered satay marinated meats, that you finished off yourself over a gel burner. Fantastic. Only problem was that the main courses were so large after a such a substantial starter, we barely dented them. We had a superb dish of garlic chilli king prawns on lettuce. And a mixed special red thai dish with amazing crispy duck. Couple that with a huge bowl of rice and ...we were podged. So my recommendation is have the mixed starter but share a main they are huge portions. Decor was real eclectic thai, loads of plastic flowers. And waitress was pleasant but a bit impatient and eye rolly at my german, she preferred b Me just speaking english for speed, but then she had much better english than my pigeon deutcshe.
